The Easter pot luck

First and foremost, happy Easter to you all. I hope that you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday.

And with the dearth of emails received here, this is probably the perfect time to empty the mailbag of recent press releases, love letters and announcements, and let you all know what's happening.

First off, Tom Bustamante of Ludlow Capital, the Wall Street guru for Nova M Radio, has created a new offshoot website for the network. This one will function as more of a community, with blogs, a message board, and whatever else to bring Nova M and its fans together. In short, all the stuff that Air America should have put on their site a long time ago. And yes, Nova M is also now on Myspace, so if you've got a crappy garage band and are looking for more friends... okay, just kidding about that one. There's also a MeetUp page. Nonetheless, check out Nova M Online. It's a work in progress, but keep checking back.

Mary Mancini, Freddie O'Connell and the gang at Liberadio(!) down in Nashville are pretty pumped up about their two new affiliates. They have been on WRVU for a while, but now add WAMB and WNSG to the fold for their weekly show. Congratulations to all, and check them out at Liberadio.com.

Jeff Alan Wolf dropped LTR a line to let everyone know about a time change for the show (tough keeping up with all the schedule changes at Head-On Radio Network, but they're still kicking ass and taking names). You can hear him live weekday afternoons from 12-3P ET and 3-6PM on TalkRadioX. And of course there's the late night replay from 9P-12A). Check it out.

And finally, in the "What have we done to deserve this" department, it appears LTR is now on CNN's press release list (hey, news to me). And CNN Radio has a new show, featuring chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta. For what it's worth, on the hour-long “Chasing Life” program, Gupta and CNN Radio take a hard look at dietary supplements, human growth hormones, stem cell treatments and calorie-restriction diets. The program, available to affiliates beginning Friday, April 6, serves as a companion piece to the CNN: Special Investigations Unit documentary, set to premiere on Saturday, April 14, at 8P ET on CNN and to Gupta’s first book, Chasing Life, scheduled to be released by Warner Books on Monday, April 9. Oh, and there will be a podcast available as well. Got all that?

So, if you've got something you want to announce, just drop LTR a line. And here's hoping you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday.
