Randi Rhodes channels her inner Bill Hicks

Now, normally, I don't spend a whole lot of time dissecting and discussing everything heard on the radio. That would take up too much of my time. Besides, there's a million blogs, news sites and message boards that do that much better than I could.

I'll make an exception for this one, which will be much-discussed by the media. The wingnut blogs will no doubt be popping bolts of mock outrage, even though they're likely to say even worse things than this. This video of Air America Radio's Randi Rhodes is from a recent appearance in San Francisco, a town with a rich tradition in stand-up comedy, so nothing is sacred on stage. Rhodes proves that here, where she unleashes on Presidential candidate and Senator Hillary Clinton, as well as former Congressperson, Vice Presidential candidate and Clinton supporter Geraldine Ferraro, calling them "f-ing whores." She holds nothing back, as you can see. Evidently, she's not a Clinton supporter.

Rhodes' official message board has been buzzing about this for a week, and now it's on Huffington Post. Here's the video. Just to warn you, this is most certainly not safe for the workplace.

Like I said, quite a few may be offended by this, or at least pretend to be offended. But to paraphrase something Steve Martin once said, comedy isn't always pretty.
